My heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. From the first moment of knowing sister Nancy, I also knew Bud. My grief at Nan's passing is now my grief at his. Some of my memories shall remain personal. Others I have and would freely share. Of all these, the memory that often comes to mind is one of the silliest, reflecting Bud's wonderful sense of humor. I'll never forget sitting in homeroom at DHS, with our no-nonsense principal "ruling the roost," and listening to Captain John and Bud the Boy Blunder as they delivered schools news with laughs galore. Bud's easy smile and infectious laughter will always remain with me. Well done, good and faithful servant. You have earned your rest.
