Kathy and my older sister met in kindergarten. They’ve been best friends ever since. Over 50 years. Kathy is our family. We all experienced ups and downs throughout life. What most stands out about her to me is her smile and her spirit. I always remember a great ski trip she and I took to Hunter Mountain. We had so much fun!
Kathy was always a very loving, caring person. She took care of her family. She never said a bad word about anyone.
I will always remember her love for adventure and how mischievous she was. Just like me. We always did many pranks in high school and decades later still laughed about the stuff we did.
I love you Kathy. We will all be together again. You were a bright light in this world. Now you are with our Lord without pain. I love you my sister. Say hello to Tony, Les, Al, and Abuela. We love you so much.

My heart hurts losing a dear friend that would always be there for anyone in need. The older we get the more we realize that so many things in this life are not are not black and white and that everyone has their own special traits that makes us all individuals and helps makes this world interesting. The important thing is that you try to live your life the best you can without causing harm to others and when possible that we give back something to our society even if it is no more than a welcoming hello or a helping hand to someone in need. These small gestures from each and every one of us can only make this world a better place. Kathy was a NYC detective who gave of herself, a loyal and "loving" friend" and neighbor that I will miss till the day I myself pass. I only wish her passing was less painful, and that her soul is now at rests with those she loved the most in this life and lost so long ago. A week or so before she passed, she was not well and begged me to watch over Richie, I told her not to say things like that, now I will fulfill her wish as best I can. As I said, she always cared about others more than herself. Rest in peace my friend, say hello to Tony and Less for me. My Love Always xoxoxo

My dear friend, my next door neighbor. I was so excited to watch you & Richie build your house across the street from me. We became such good friends I consider you mi Familia. You always had such a generous smile, a kind ❤️ heart. We would hang out almost every day. You were alway there for me too. Bob & I loved you & Richie so much we wanted you to join us on our honeymoon in Cancun. We had a blast despite the crazy hot weather. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for your service with the NYPD. Oh thanks to your sweet aunt for teaching me how to make the best rice & beans. I remember when your dad came up one weekend he was so proud that he mowed the lawn, with the exception that he forgot to put the mower blades down. I think we all laughed so hard we cried. Just know.....Best friends forever
Never forgotten. I miss you. See you on the other side. Love you, Min

We had so much fun together, expecially in Cancun in 1996, despite the heat. I loved your dad Tony, Aunt Les & her husband. She cooked the best rice & beans ever.I still have the receipe in my head. I want to thank you for your service to the NYPD. That could not have een an easy job. Just know you have a special place in my life, my heart, my soul. Because you made the world a better place.
