Obituary of Rosa Bermudez

In Loving Memory of Rosa "Rosita" Bermudez Rosa "Rosita" Bermudez, a dedicated Home Health Aid and a beloved resident of New Windsor, NY for over four decades, passed away on October 9th, 2023. She was born on February 4th, 1961. Rosita is survived by her mother, Isabel Burgoa, her daughter, Eliza Rivera, and her cherished grandchildren, Quasim Elias Henry and Aneliza Rose Ortiz. She was a loving sister to Evelyn Bermudez, Elizabeth Bermudez, Marisol Bermudez-Ellis, Joanne Bermudez, America Burgoa, and David Burgoa. Rosita leaves behind a large and loving family, including two nieces and seven nephews. Rosita's warmth and dedication as a Home Health Aid endeared her to those she cared for, and her presence in the New Windsor/Newburgh community for over 40 years left an indelible mark. She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and her commitment to helping others in their time of need. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace. The funeral services for Rosa "Rosita" Bermudez will take place on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, located at 239 Quassaick Avenue, New Windsor, NY 12553. Family and friends are welcome to attend to commemorate and celebrate Rosita's life. Rosita’s burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 304 Walsh Avenue, New Windsor, NY, on Monday, October 16th, at 11AM. The procession will begin from the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home to join the procession to the cemetery, where we will pay our final respects to Rosita. •
