Wilfredo Rivera ,80, passed away on November 25,2023 in his Newburgh , Ny home surrounded by the love of his family by his side. Wilfredo was known to many friends as “Willie” and “Papi”. He will be remembered for his sense of humor , and dedication to his family .
Wilfredo was born on April 15,1943 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Jose A. Rivera and Angela Arroyo in which he is reunited with.
Wilfredo was loved and adored by his wife Rosa Rivera of 40 years. Loved by his 7 children Anthony Christensen, Margarita Rivera, Wilfredo Rivera, Erik Anariba, Jose Rivera, Juana Ortiz & Angela Rivera; 18 Grandchildren , 3 Great-Grandchildren, his sisters ;Hilda Renta, Clotilda Mercado ,Haydee Rivera and a host of nieces and nephews. Wilfredo modeled a life that will forever remain in all the hearts whose life he touched.
Wilfredo is predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
