Obituary of Antonia Rivera

Antonia Rivera "Toña"88, a longtime resident of New Windsor, NY, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her siblings and family on August 3, 2019 in her birth town of San Sebastian Puerto Rico. Antonia was an avid member of the St. Patrick's Church congregation for all her years in the Newburgh area. She was the foundation to her family and will be greatly missed. Antonia is predeceased by her loving husband Efigenio Rivera, her three sons, Efigenio Rivera Jr., Baltazar Rivera (Bass) and Daniel Rivera (Danny). She is survived by her two amazing daughters Milagros Acosta (Junior) and Margarita Ramos (Modesto) her grandchildren, Johnnie Cintron (Linda), Wily Cintron (Jackie), Evelyn Amy Rivard (James), Baltazar Rivera Jr. (Nilca), Lisette Volz (Kenneth), David Rivera (Lisa), Diana Rivera, Daniel Acosta (Thalia), Joseph Rivera, Isamal Rivera (Omar), Daniela Rivera and 18 beautiful great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Her daughters along with the grandchildren would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers during this difficult time. Antonia lived a long beautiful life! We were blessed to have her as such a monarch to our family for so many wonderful years. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday August 9, 2019 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte94) New Windsor, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 10, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Church Newburgh. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery New Windsor, NY
