Obituary of Francisco Olmeda

FRANCISCO OLMEDA May 11, 1932 – July 18, 2019 Francisco Olmeda passed away at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Newburgh, NY on Thursday July 18, 2019. He was born in Islote Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 11, 1932. He was 87 years old. Francisco worked as a custodian for Demolition Company in Brooklyn, NY for many years. Francisco the father of Maria Natal, Francisco Olmeda, Ivan Olmeda, Adelina Olmeda, Henry Olmeda and uncle to Keila Olmeda. He is survived by his brother Fernando Olmeda Fernandez and predeceased by his sister Blanca Nieves Olmeda Fernandez. Francisco was an amazing loving dad and grandfather. He never complained and loved to be with his family. He loved animals and especially his Shih-Tzu Casanova. He loved to watch his favorite baseball team The Mets. He loved his grandchildren: Frankie, Preston, Rebecca, Matt, Amanda, Sarah, Melissa, Katherine, Dylan, Jayren, Ethan. Our Dad was known as the Cookie Monster at Wingate Beacon.
