Obituary of Charlene A. Bittman

Charlene Bittman - AKA Charlene Romaine 12/31/1952 - 11/20/2021 Charlene was born to Richard and Gladys Abrams, and had two older siblings, Lloyd and Chris. She is pre-deceased by all. She is also pre-deceased by her son Christopher Peterson, Jr., and her niece, Judy Bolster. She is survived by her loving best friend and soul mate, John Bittman, her wonderful, amazing daughter, Tammy Peterson, three beautiful grandchildren, Jared, Preston and Riley Joy, and by her step-son, Jobe Bittman, his three awesome granddaughters, Zeta, Nita, and Jemima, and their mom, Trish. She also leaves behind her Uncle Bob and Aunt Pauline Pugsley, niece Naomi(John) Bullis, and their three amazing daughters, Jessica, Crystal, and Hanna, nephews Neal and Ryan Bolster, favorite sister-in-law, Judy Peterson, nephews Skip and Shane Gannon, and many friends. Of her six other amazing sisters-in-law, and one amazing brother-in-law, Danny and Maribel Bittman were always there whenever needed. She was thankful for all of you. Charlene grew up in Stony Point, NY with Hi-Tor Lanes, Low Tor Skating, sleigh riding, and good, old fun! She loved fishing on the Hudson, boating, BBQ's, family times, and friends. She was employed by Rockland County Department of Social Services for 29 years, and truly loved her job. She retired in 2017. She loved her church, Solid Rock, in New Windsor, NY, and the people there. Her hope was that she touched others with kindness.
