Winifred “Winnie” Elsie Fockler 89 of Newburgh, New York passed away Monday January 10th,2022. Winifred was born October 23, 1932 in Haverstraw, New York. She is survived by her son, Dean Ludwick Fockler of Bean Station, TN. Her niece Linda Byrne of Poughkeepsie, NY and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as 2 great great grandchildren. Winnie lived a wonderful life before she fell to the terrors of dementia. She was a part of AARP and American Legion post 152.
Visitation will be on Friday January 14, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue New Windsor, NY 12553. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday January 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery New Windsor, NY
