Obituary of Randy I Siper

Randy Ira Siper, an attorney and a selfless, loving family man, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2024. He was 62 years old. Randy was born on August 25, 1962 in Queens to Arlene and Sheldon. The family moved to New Windsor, NY when he was 8, and he met his wife, Risa, in high school. He studied law at Pace University, passing the bar in 2000. He was proud to be a well-respected member of the legal community in Orange and Ulster Counties, working tirelessly for every client and every case. He took after his father and mother and loved the adventure of antique hunting with his family. A fish tank received in childhood began a lifelong passion, and he would amass a collection of aquarium fish and plants. He also enjoyed family barbecues, where he grilled for everyone. He was devoted to the love of his life, Risa. The two of them were inseparable and shared a loving 39 years of marriage. They were each other’s partner in every aspect of the word. They made their family complete with two children, Benjamin and Zachary, and Randy was proud of their every step. Randy is survived and will always be cherished by his wife Risa, and children Benjamin, who is married to Carolyn, and Zachary. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Arlene, his brother Alan, who is married to Cynthia, and his sister Renay, who is married to Anthony. He will always be loved by all his nieces and nephews. Randy is predeceased by his father, Sheldon. He will be deeply and utterly missed by those who knew him. The funeral for Randy will be held on Sunday, 11:00 AM, at 140 Erie Avenue, New Windsor. Friends and family are welcome to visit the family home after.
